Paws in the Park

ROYAL CANIN® was the major sponsor of Paws in the Park held on Sunday 15 May in Camden, New South Wales.

Over 800 people attended the event, which was organised by Camden Council to promote responsible dog ownership. Owners could register their dogs on site, receive discounted microchipping and free vet checks.

It was a fun day out for the entire family with various competitions such as ‘Best Trick’ and demonstrations in obedience and agility.

There was also a charity dog walk, which commenced under the ROYAL CANIN® arch and ran through the Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park.

Thanks to the very generous public, the event raised over $1,500 for Seeing Eye Dogs Australia (SEDA). This donation will go towards breeding and training Seeing Eye Dogs for people who are blind or have low vision. It costs more than $50,000 and takes up to two years of intensive training for one Seeing Eye Dog to graduate so this donation is greatly appreciated by SEDA.
