AMRRIC Felt Dog Education Project

ROYAL CANIN® Australia launched its biennial Mars Volunteer Program on Monday 11th April 2016.

Over the week, Associates managed to produce a year’s supply of felt dog education kits.

These kits will be used by AMRRIC to deliver education programs that engage students in issues of dog health linked to human health and wellbeing.

AMRRIC, which stands for Animal Management in Rural and Remote Indigenous Communities, believes that the key to improving animal welfare lies in the education and empowerment of local community members.

Partnering with schools in remote communities, AMRRIC delivers education programs that extend beyond the school gate by engaging with community liaison officers, parents, community members and Animal Management Workers.
