A full-fledged terrier, just a little smaller than usual, but no less bold and vivacious, this hardy breed certainly packs a punch! Friendly and not at all cantankerous.
Broad, especially between the ears, slightly rounded, well defined stop.
Compact, short back, level topline and well sprung ribs.
Any shade of red, wheaten, black and tan or grizzle.
Medium-sized, V shaped but slightly rounded at the tip, falling inward against the cheek.
Moderate length, contributing to the general balance of the dog. Thick at the base, tapering to the tip.
Hard, wiry and straight, close to the body.
Norfolks are among the smallest of the terriers, low on their feet, compact and solid, with a short back, good substance and bone. “Battle” scars – inevitable in terriers – are acceptable. Petite but powerful.
